Hi guys! I’ve got a few tidbits to report on today, and to start I want to mention the Alien Experience AvP-R Poster Contest going on over at www.alienexperience.com.

It’s pretty simple… go to www.alienexperience.com to read all the rules and then create a forum account on their site if you don’t already have one. Once you’ve validated your account, click on the forum contest link and you’ll see a page with some AvP-R trivia and some instructions on how to submit your answers. The prize? They are giving away 10 official AvP-R posters!

The contest will run from Wednesday September 26, 2007 until Saturday October 6, 2007 at midnight. The ten members who provide the most correct answers to the quiz win. In the case of a tie of more than ten winners, the poster will be given to ten members randomly chosen from those who qualify. The winners will be announced by Wednesday October 10, 2007. The chosen winners will be required to provide their full name and mailing address to receive the poster. Click HERE to enter!

Sideshow Updates

Sideshow has just announced the edition sizes for their AvP-R props! Here’s a rundown of the edition sizes:

AvP-R Predator Helmet: 1000 units (Scheduled release date is 1st quarter 2008)

AvP-R Shuriken: 750 units (Scheduled release date is 1st quarter 2008)

AvP-R Shoulder Plasma Cannon: 500 units (Scheduled release date is 1st quarter 2008)

They’ve also released the QuickTime Virtual Tours (VRs) for their latest Alien Dioramas… you can check out the Aliens Dio HERE, the Alien Dio HERE and the Alien 3 Dio HERE.

And finally, it’s been a little while, but the full size Predator 1:1 Sideshow Bust has finally sold out in the last week! In all honesty, I thought this was going to sell out almost as fast as the Maquette did, but it was actually around for awhile before the 1000 units were finally snatched up. So to all you Pred bust owners, congrats you’ve got yourselves a sold out piece!
