Narin has done it again. The newest addition to his resin kit line is the much anticipated Wolverine. This 1:4 scale kit stands over 2 feet in height and consists of 17 high quality resin parts. The six blades protruding from his hands are seamlessly integrated for added realism. And to appeal to the smokers and non-smokers in the crowd, Wolverine comes with two heads, one with his trademark cigar and one without. This kit is going to be a limited run and is priced right at $319 plus shipping. You can order now ONLY through the Predator Stuff Shop but hurry!
Hot off the molds in Thailand comes the latest masterpiece from the incredible mind of Narin – Spirit Blade. Spirit Blade is a dominant pose Hunter in 1:6 scale and would make an excellent companion to your Alternative Hunter – check out the side by side photos in the Predator Stuff Shop. The kit consists of 13 beautifully sculpted solid resin pieces and you can display the statue with or without the Bio-Helmet. Take a look at the still gallery for this amazing kit.
You all know the quality of Narin’s work and if anything, he might have topped his best with this superb kit. Check out my exclusive review of this amazing kit:
So here is the deal. We have three of these kits still available. The list price is only $249.99 plus shipping but as a Christmas special we are reducing the price to $224.99 plus shipping. You can order this kit directly from the Predator Stuff shop. And remember, there are only 3 castings left so this is a first-come-first-serve.
Lots of folks offer you what they think of as a once-in-a-lifetime offer that really is just a bunch of junk. Not this time. This is truly an opportunity you can not/should not pass up. Narin is making available four of his kits. Big deal you say. Oh, yes it is a big deal. These are four one-of-a-kind kits sculpted, built-up and hand painted by Narin. They are from his personal collection and he is making them available to members of the PredatorStuff website. First the pictures then the details.
First up is one of the most famous of the Narin sculpts, the Encounter:
A personal favorite of mine, the Encounter features figures of both the Predator and Dutch Schaefer in their initial encounter. Narin not only built up and painted this diorama, he also added some additional vegetation to give added reality. The statue is 1:6 scale and over 17″ high – the Predator is 15″ high with out the base – and the base is 9.5″ deep, 14″ wide and 2.5″ high. There were only 50 of these made worldwide but this is the only one available that was hand painted by Narin. The price is $1990.00 (plus shipping from Thailand) which given its pedigree is a steal. If you want to see if you can give Narin a run for his money and build/paint one of your own, we have 2 kits available for $524.99.
Next up is another one-of-a-kind build up by Narin, Hellboy:
This is one of Narin’s most popular kits and features dual heads – with and without horns! It is a massive 1:4 scale and stands just over 21″ high and weighs in at 5 pounds. The kit, buildup and paint job are killer characteristic of Narin. This bad boy goes for $1450.00 (plus shipping from Thailand). For more info and pictures, email me. And again, if you are brave enough to try your hand at building and painting up your own Hellboy, we can get you the un-built, unpainted kit for $349.00.
The third work of art is the Death Warrior:
Just look at that armor!! Truly amazing paint job. This one-of-a-kind statue features highly detailed body and head paint, and exclusively designed armor. The statue is 1:6 scale, 17 inches high and, with the base, weighs in a 8 pounds. This Narin-original is $1750 (yes, plus shipping) Gorgeous highly detailed work of art. Contact me for more photos and info.
Last is what most will consider to be the ‘jewel’ of this collection, the Classic Predator:
This is Narin at his purest, his finest. A sculpt of the star of the show, helmet on (it comes with a helmet off head as well) and blades extended. In between sized at 1:5 scale, this statue is taken from the original Encounter and then modified for solo stance. There were only 20 kits made so the is rare, very rare. Price is $1190 (plus shipping). To buy or inquire about any or all of these masterpieces, please email me.
I know that all of you Predator folks are excited about the coming of All Hallows Eve aka Halloween. Time to register for Spooktacular over at Sideshow, get out your extra large goodie bag and dust off your favorite Predator suit for its annual wearing. What’s that? You say you do not have a Predator suit? Seriously?
Well good news for you cause we have a source that will whip one up for you, and if you hurry, in time for the Halloween festivities. Think about how your friends will just die of jealousy, how women will swoon at your feet, how small children will run in terror. Come on it’s all in fun.
So a few words about the suits. Pretty much available in any character you want, P1, P2, Celtic, Chopper, Elder, Wolf and with just about any option you may want; wrist bomb timer with lights, shuriken, combi-stick spear, net launcher, dagger, wrist blades and an assortment of bio-helmets fit for a Clan Leader. Suits are all custom made by hand, hand painted and detailed and take about 4-6 weeks to make – I told you you’d have to hurry. And they are not cheap. These are movie-quality works of art produced by world class artists who take special pains to produce the most accurate and artistic suits possible. Also, each one is made to order, we do not have a bunch of them sitting around in inventory. Oh and btw, I will save you the trouble of emailing us, we do not rent them.
So if you want to see some examples of the quality work we have available click here and if you want more details, contact me. But move quickly, you don’t want to be stuck in some crappy Superman leotard for Halloween.
Remember this creepy guy from the “Jeepers Creepers” flick starring the “I’m a Mac” kid?
Sure you do, he is that flesh-eating beast of old that returns every 23 years to feed, killing anyone and anything that is foolish enough to get in his way. Well now you can have him in your own bedroom, just standing there staring at you. Pleasant thought?
Actually this is a way cool, limited edition (only 150 worldwide) piece of art constructed from heavyweight polystone and then hand painted to the finest detail. This amazingly detailed piece captures perfectly this demonic monster, standing with his heavy axe in one hand – used to mercilessly decapitate or dismember his hapless victims, and a severed head in the other. To pre-order (he’ll be available early next year) just click on the magic button below (yes, the one that says ‘Click Here to Order”) and you will be whisked away to Order Land
Come on, you want one in your bedroom. He is definitely one of those statues that you know comes alive at night!
As we are preparing to give away a beautiful Predator LSB (Legendary Scale Bust), Sideshow drops a very nice companion piece, the Predator 2 LSB. Take a look at them side by side:
Tell me that they don’t make a handsome pair. And for those of you that still have books (remember books?) go find a better set of book ends. The P1 is 16.5″ (419.1mm) high and the P2 is 18″ (457.2mm) high owing to the more angled skull. So don’t spend all your money at Comic-Con, check out these two very cool beasts, the Predator and Predator 2 Legendary Scale Busts. Now, if I could only get Sideshow to give ups a free P2….
A few weeks ago a friend of mine shot me an email telling me he was thinning out his kit collection. One of the jewels of his collection was an original Bad Blood kit by Narin. I posted it in the newsletter and it was gone in about an hour. I had about 15 folks who wanted it but a bit too late. Well I may have the next best thing for you, Sideshow Collectibles just launched the Narin Predator Bad Blood statue due for a November delivery. Now this is not a kit, it is a finished statue but nobody says you can’t re-paint a statue. It’s a favorite pass time of mine. Take a look:
I’m hoping that this paint job will remain faithful to the exquisite work on the original done by of Joe Dunaway but only time will tell when we finally see this impressive looking statue. Runs almost 19 inches tall (450mm) and weighs in at about 12 pounds (5.44kg).
For those of you not familiar with the Bad Blood Predator (shame on you) he is a rogue warrior who has basically turned on his own people. There are two Pred skulls adorning his shoulders and a (now lifeless) head impaled on his spear. This is a bad boy and assuming that the details are going to be all there, will be a knock out piece for your collection. And to all of you out there who are saying it is going to look crappy because Sideshow has lowered its standards, just remember that this is a Narin/Joe Dunaway piece and there worst efforts (of which there are none) are better than the best of others. Good hunting – Rich
Our friends at Sideshow Collectibles have just released the newest in their line of Predator Bio-Helmets (I wish they would stop calling them masks!), The Bone Grill:
Details: 16″ H x 11″ W x 16″ L, about 14 pounds. It comes from the studio’s massive archive of concept drawing for the AvP series. This bio was created to outfit the fearsome group of Predators during their rite of passage. It comes with LED laser sights and is scheduled for an August delivery. Wouldn’t it look good in your collection next to the Falconer bio or one of the custom helmets in our shop? Go get it friends!
