Raptor Arts Releases their Alienated II Bio!

April 19th, 2007

Hello everyone! I wanted to give you all a heads up that my friend Vince is looking to sell his last castings of his newly released Alienated 2 Bio! Unfortunately I don’t have one to photograph and review personally, but I’ve seen Vince’s work before and it’s really top notch and this bio looks just awesome with an Alien style to it.

TheBiggunns Predator Wall Mount!

If you’d like to get your hands on this full size bio helmet, you can contact Vince by visiting his website at www.raptorarts.com for more information and to purchase directly from him.

Again, I don’t have this piece here to photograph, but here are some sample photos taken by other owners:

Enjoy,
Dan

General Update on the PredatorStuff.com Shop!

April 3rd, 2007

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on what I’ve been up to and how the shop is coming along. My friend Nick has been working on the coding aspect of the site and recently completed the initial shipping calculator feed, which is the interface that will automatically generate shipping quotes for the check out area. So, work is under way and I’m working with Nick on this as much as possible to have this done on schedule. Ideally I would like to have this up and running in a couple of weeks, but the target is still end of April for completion.

In terms of stock, I have some initial stock on the way, although it won’t be a HUGE amount of stuff. If I see sales are good, I’ll get a much larger order second time around. So far I’ve got a bunch of Narin kits coming in, some new Super Edge P1 kits and some additional hard-to-get items. I’ll also be putting up some special order items and pre-orders for some exclusive kits that are coming up.

So stay tuned, the shop and more updates are coming!

The PredatorStuff.com Store is Coming!

March 16th, 2007

Hi all,

Just a heads up that I am officially announcing that I will be working on creating a shop on the site for you to order kits and props that I have in stock or that can be special ordered. I plan to carry all those hard-to-find ORIGINAL Narin kits and other Asian sculpts that are next to impossible to find that are not recasts. If you have kits that you would like to offer me with bulk pricing to carry in the shop, please contact me.

So stay tuned, I have stock on the way and I hope to be up and running in a month or so.

Reference Area Corrections and the Original Super Edge kit Added!

March 13th, 2007

Hi Everyone!

Just a heads up that I have made some corrections to the kit reference areas, and added some new stuff… here’s what’s been done:

1. The large 1:4 scale Predators that are listed under Small Cottage have been had additional notes added to them to state that these kits were all cast in resin and that vinyl castings are all recasts. These kits were also originally distributed by Big Time Kits and were later sold by Small Cottage and Doll & Hobby. You can see the changes on the Small Cottage Page.

2. There is now a kits area for Big Time Kits and Doll & Hobby, listing the two Predator kits they produced. It should be noted that neither companies sell this kit, but a new vendor has bought the rights and is looking at re-releasing them! Stay tuned for more info.

3. As per my good friend Ian, there was a mistake in the listing regarding the Nayuta Hunter of Darkness kit. Many believe this kit is called the Blowback Hunter of Darkness due to a false article in an old magazine as well as information from Monsters Direct. The Blowback is in fact a completely different kit, and is in fact the very FIRST kit released by Super Edge. You can see this correction and the Blowback listing in the Super Edge area.

4. The new P1 Predator from Super Edge has been added to the Super Edge area.

5. The Narin area has been updated with all the new kits coming up and I’ve moved around a few kits that belonged in other areas. It basically needed a big ol clean up! Also, due to a bug with categories having more than 2 pages, the Narin page wouldn’t load for anyone… that has now been fixed!

That’s about for now but I have many updates and goodies to share, so stay tuned!

Big thanks to Al from The Hive for Catalog Photos!

October 11th, 2006

I just wanted to send out a big thanks to Al who is a member at The Hive and at The Clubhouse for a bunch of sweet catalog style scans he submitted for a bunch of kits I didn’t have listed, and a couple we already have. The best part of all this is that several o the photos provided information I never had on the kits, so this was a GREAT find! Thanks so much Al!

You can see the new pics in the following galleries:

- Relic of the Hunter
- Jonathan Dewar’s Predator
- Gort P1 Predator
- Predator by The House That Dripped Resin
- Several new SuperDeform preds!

Thanks again Al, you rock :)

Kit Origin Corrections!

October 11th, 2006

Just wanted to give a quick update on some kit corrections! There were a number of Narin kits I introduced recently that I openly admitted were assumed to have come from Narin. Well luckily I have some friends in Japan and China that are always able to help correct my assumptions and I have several corrections to point out today. The Elder kit with the Chestburster is in fact from ModModel and the Celtic with Chestburster and Samurai Predator are both from an artist in Thailand known simply as Joe. So I created a new company area called Joe Thailand and his pieces have all been moved into that section. Sorry for the mix up and thanks to ModModel for setting the record straight!
