They have arrived folks! This weekend I received the final photos of the HUGE 1:4 scale kit being sold exclusively by Predatorstuff.com and it looks just completely awesome!

For those of you that don’t know anything about this, we are going to be selling this exclusive kit sculpted by Narin himself in the very near future and right now we are accepting pre-orders for the first order we will be making from the manufacturer. The pre-order deadline to get in to the group discount is August 20th, 2007. You will still be able to order this kit after that date (assuming all 50 don’t sell right away), but you will have to pay the full price. Hi folks! Just a heads up that there are some new items in the shop and I’ve added some stock with LOTS more to come in the coming days and weeks. What I REALLY wanted to draw your attention to are two VERY huge and EXTREMELY rare kits. You may have seen Vinyl copies of these on eBay and many folks have these thinking they are originals. These are the massive 1:4 scale masked and unmasked Predator 1 kits originally released by Bigtime Kits and later on produced by Doll and Hobby. The fact is that originals are super rare and aren’t vinyl at all, they’re resin. If you have a vinyl one, it’s a recast.

So with that said, I have managed to acquire 1 of each directly from Doll and Hobby that they had in storage and as far as I know, these are the very last of these gorgeous kits. So, if you want your chance to own these huge kits that are almost impossible to find as originals, now is your chance to score them. I have only 1 of each and then it’s over.

The Masked version is here and the Unmasked version is here and I am selling them for $299.99, which is a fantastic price for these kits.

I’ve also added a couple of female Predators that I received 1 kit of each and some out of stock items have been replenished. Check it all out on the shop! Please note that items display in the shop in order of latest added by default, so the newest items are always at the top pf page 1.

Hello everyone!

My apologies for the lack of updates, but I have been working very hard on getting stock for the shop, establishing contacts in the industry and just trying to get everything in place. I have been receiving TONS of requests for kits, props and costumes and I am working hard on being able to satisfy orders and get the stuff people are asking for. So here’s an update on some stuff that is going on and on products I am getting:

The Predatorstuff Shop

My friend Nick has been working on the shop coding, but due to his hectic school schedule, it’s been slow going and it’s taking longer than I had hoped. So at this point, we are about 2 weeks away until the shop is done. So bear with me while I get this done… believe me this is VERY high on my priority list. So give it two weeks and I’ll be all set for orders!

The new Monsterz P2 kit

I recently posted an announcement of this new P2 kit and many of you have contacted me about it. I will indeed be receiving some of these in 2 or 3 weeks and they will be available in the shop. If they are not in stock by the time the shop is launched, they will be available for Pre-Order. I’ll be getting in about 5 of them.

Narin Kits

As you may or may not know, one of the big things I will be selling are legit Narin kits… I have already received stock of some of these items and will be getting a lot more in. So far I have the following items on-hand for the shop:

I was supposed to get some of those Bone Collector busts but the master mold is shot so none of these coming in until they make a new mold.

Now those are all in stock, but many of you have already contacted me about these and I think they are going to sell very quickly so I am going to put in a second order for these in the next couple of days. Along with those orders, I am also getting that new Hunt for Hunt kit that was just released. If you would like any of these kits, you might want to drop me a line letting me know you would like one (prices range between $89 and $139 plus shipping) so I can order enough for everyone.

I am also working on getting the Model in the House preds directly from the company, but it’s been tough to get a price-list and order going… same deal with trying to get my hands on some of those Creature Shop exclusives. I am in contact with them, but it seems to be really tough to get answer from them and get an order in. I guess they don’t need the money or something lol! So I am working on that and will try to update with more information.

Doll and Hobby Preds

There was a tentative announcement last month that there would be a re-release of those gorgeous 26″ masked and unmasked kits that were originally released by Big Time Kits and then Doll and Hobby. You still see these pop up on eBay as hollow vinyl recasts, but the real deals are solid resin and are SUPER rare seeing as they haven’t been in production for years. Well, the bad news is that this has been cancelled… the person heading up the re-release and the old producer were just too busy with other projects to proceed, so it’s been put on hold, possibly indefinitely. BUT keep your eyes out.. I know someone *cough* that has been able to acquire 1 original masked and 1 original unmasked resin copy and you MIGHT see it pop up on the shop as a 1 time deal! So stay tuned!

Props and Costumes

One of the things I get TONS of emails about is costumes… usually full costumes built and ready to wear right out of the box. Now I am going to try and help people get these kinds of items, but I need to re-iterate that costumes are NOT cheap, so please don’t contact me thinking I can get you a full get-up for $500. These suits take weeks to build… do you know anyone that works for 3 weeks for $500? You make more flipping burgers! So, with that said, if you contact me for a suit, get ready to pay $2500 and up. If you w ant something with animatronics and all kinds of effects, it’s up near the $10,000+ mark. I have quite a few contacts for suits, but many of these guys are getting out of the business because too many folks don’t want to pay the price for the gear. So with limited resources, it’s getting tough to find full suits ready to go, and costs are getting up there, so be ready for it. There’s also a lot of lead time when ordering suits, so bear in mind no one just has a line of suits in a warehouse ready to ship.

As for individual props, those are much easier, especially bio helmets and weapons. I will be stocking some P1 style cannons from Dave Pirkle as well as some other goodies, plus tons of special order items such as bios and other weapons. Just remember my prices might be a bit higher than what you are used to seeing on recasting websites because all of the bios and props I sell come from the original artists and producers, not a recaster.

Other Kits

I’ve also got some extra kits above and beyond the Narin kits coming up, including hard to find items such as SuperEdge kits. In fact if you were unable to score that new P1 Invisible Hunter kit, I have a couple of extra in stock that will be up for grabs. Also, if anyone is interested in purchasing an ORIGINAL Vision Models P1 Predator made by John Wright, I am able to get these directly from John now.

Predator Wall Plate

I’ve had a few people contact me looking to buy Mel’s Predator Wall Plate. Well to be honest, I’m really not sure what happened, but Mel has not contacted me at all to let me know they are done and ready to ship, so for the moment these are a no go. I sent of an email yesterday for an update, but I haven’t heard anything as of yet. Should these become available, I will pick up a bunch and have them in stock on the shop.

In terms of reviews, I just received a WICKED Ancient Predator bio from BioHunter, which is based on the flashback scene in AvP when they show you when the Preds first arrived on Earth and became the rulers of Man. Very cool stuff!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on what I’ve been up to and how the shop is coming along. My friend Nick has been working on the coding aspect of the site and recently completed the initial shipping calculator feed, which is the interface that will automatically generate shipping quotes for the check out area. So, work is under way and I’m working with Nick on this as much as possible to have this done on schedule. Ideally I would like to have this up and running in a couple of weeks, but the target is still end of April for completion.

In terms of stock, I have some initial stock on the way, although it won’t be a HUGE amount of stuff. If I see sales are good, I’ll get a much larger order second time around. So far I’ve got a bunch of Narin kits coming in, some new Super Edge P1 kits and some additional hard-to-get items. I’ll also be putting up some special order items and pre-orders for some exclusive kits that are coming up.
