Narin is making available four of his kits. Big deal you say. Oh, yes it is a big deal. These are four one-of-a-kind kits sculpted, built-up and hand painted by Narin. First up is one of the most famous of the Narin sculpts, the Encounter:
A personal favorite of mine, the Encounter features figures of both the Predator and Dutch Schaefer in their initial encounter. Narin not only built up and painted this diorama, he also added some additional vegetation to give added reality. The statue is 1:6 scale and over 17″ high – the Predator is 15″ high with out the base – and the base is 9.5″ deep, 14″ wide and 2.5″ high. There were only 50 of these made worldwide but this is the only one available that was hand painted by Narin. The price is $1990.00 (plus shipping from Thailand) which given its pedigree is a steal. Next up is another one-of-a-kind build up by Narin, Hellboy:
This is one of Narin’s most popular kits and features dual heads – with and without horns! It is a massive 1:4 scale and stands just over 21″ high and weighs in at 5 pounds. The third work of art is the Death Warrior:
Just look at that armor!! Truly amazing paint job. This one-of-a-kind statue features highly detailed body and head paint, and exclusively designed armor. The statue is 1:6 scale, 17 inches high and, with the base, weighs in a 8 pounds. This Narin-original is $1750 (yes, plus shipping) Gorgeous highly detailed work of art. Last is what most will consider to be the ‘jewel’ of this collection, the Classic Predator:
This is Narin at his purest, his finest. A sculpt of the star of the show, helmet on (it comes with a helmet off head as well) and blades extended. In between sized at 1:5 scale, this statue is taken from the original Encounter and then modified for solo stance. There were only 20 kits made so the is rare, very rare.
