NECA Announces 19″ Classic P1 Predator Series!

Hey gang! Check it out… NECA has announced a line of HUGE 19″ classic P1 Predators.. they’ll be available in 3 flavors: Unmasked open mouth, unmasked closed mouth and masked.
Apparently they will be selling for around $80 each and I was told that all 3 were available for Preorder on BBTS as a package for $200 but I just dug around on their site and didn’t find any order or pre-order info for these guys on the BBTS. So bear with me while I try to find a link, or feel free to post one if you have it!
Gotta love how they didn’t just sell 1 figure with 3 alternate heads… Should I pick one up for a review?

Problem is I don’t have any room to display something that huge lol. I’m still waiting for a decent masked Predator in the 1/12 scale to be released.

Should you pick one up for a review? Hmmm…lets see…um…well, considering this is a PREDATOR STUFF site that reviews any and all things Predator, my guess would be FACKIN RIGHTS!!!
Really wish they put all three heads in one package, but its still a deadly sculpt and the size is ginormous!
PS – any idea when these are actually released?
Amazing sculpt. If they will really look like the prototype shown above, I think they’re a bargain. Let alone the amazing size!!! And Yes Dan! I would really appreciate your review, so I hope you decide to get one…

They should have just made one with interchangible heads like they were talking about. Hopefully they will release the elder in this version to. I dont like the 7″ figures all the details are lost.
I have been dreaming of owning a large-scale Pred for years and while I can’t afford the mega large statues and maquettes these bad boys are well within my reach, in fact I ordered two sets, one to display and the others will stay in their boxes.
I cannot wait until I get my hands on these!
Let’s hope NECA maintains the standards shown on the prototype.
I have a feeling they will, NECA’s track record for releasing prototype-level large-scale figures are much better than their 7″ lines simply because they can incorporate more promised detail. Their 7″ prototypes often look amazing but the final products are pretty much crap.
