Sideshow Pre-Orders for Celtic Bio-Helmet and Hot Toys Dutch and Billy are Up!

Hello everyone! It’s been a crazy week for me as I’ve barely been able to get to my PC all week long due to some repairs I’ve been doing around the house (I was getting tired of looking at puppy damage) but today I am in front of the PC all day catching up and I have tons I need to post on predstuff today, including the latest releases from Sideshow! Let’s start off with the BADASS new Celtic bio-helmet from AvP:
Sideshow is proud to partner with Amalgamated Dynamics Inc (ADI) to bring you the Alien vs. Predator Prop Replica line, featuring some of the most advanced weaponry and armor ever conceived for the Predator arsenal. Each prop replica is an exact 1:1 reproduction of the original screen used prop, as created by ADI. The Celtic Predator Mask Prop Replica is cast in fiberglass and features a light-up targeting feature. Personally, this is a MUST-HAVE for me, although I have no idea why they added the copper accents to the helmet… I checked the ADI book and reviewed the movie and there is no question that those bronze/copper accents did not exist in the film. Hopefully Sideshow sees the complaints about this left on their site and on the forums and changes them prior to shipping them out. It’s not a HUGE deal, but still, would be nice for accuracy’s sake. As I write this, apparently there is still a small licensing issue that they are working out because the photos of the figure have still not been re-posted. I placed my order for the celtic! As far as the colours go, maybe they thought it needed some accents? There’s a lot going on in that face, accents can help to make it seem less busy. Well, if it arrives like that I’ll just repaint it!
….just a quick note. The paint masters for the “Celtic” helmet, as well as any other ADI related prop replicas that Sideshow releases, are done by the artists at ADI. Alec and Tom say what goes when it comes to these…and well….copper accents are what they wanted.
