This is the second statue Hot Toys has created in the Masterpiece Series line of collectibles, with the first one being the Elder on Throne statue. Not sure if you caught my review of the Elder piece, but I was WAY less than impressed with the first rendition, so hopefully they can redeem themselves on this one. As far as I’m concerned, until they get rid of using plastic, this is nothing but a glorified McFarlane toy without any articulation.

This new entry features the Hybrid Predalien jumping to the attack on the Wolf Predator, and the statue looks pretty cool with some nice dynamic poses and beautiful paint on the prototype photos. I sincerely hope that the final production piece will be close to the sample. Here’s the write up on the piece from Sideshow:
