Predatorstuff Reviews the Narin Axertor Kit, Built by Joe Dunaway!
November 9th, 2007
As promised, I here is yet ANOTHER review of a gorgeous kit sculpted by Narin with an AMAZING build-up by the Predator Painting Masta, Joe Dunaway! In tonight’s review, I would like to introduce you to the latest killer piece in my collection, Narin’s Axertor Predator.

This is a rather simple piece, in terms of the lack of a huge base, alien heads and other decorative goodies, but this is an extremely powerful pose, MASSIVELY detailed sculpture and a WICKED looking weapon. In fact, this guy wields the largest and most intricate weapon I’ve ever seen on a Narin kit, and it’s this ridiculously HUGE axe from hell! Overall it makes the piece look very powerful and 100% badass. I have to admit that when I first saw the master sculpt of this kit, I was a bit iffy, but I completely changed my mind when I finally held one in my hand. I also lost my mind when I saw how it looked once Joe got his paws on it!
The Axertor Predator has very intricate details, including a very elaborate neck ring and beads. He also has some fairly minimal armor on him, with no chest armor or backpack, but what armor there is, it’s very detailed with tons of layers and tiny details worked in to the sculpt. Joe really went with a unique look and went with some deep red and gold tones in this build-up, and when you see the complete piece, it looks absolutely amazing. Just look at the belt detail:

And of course Joe does the usual job of creating insanely realistic transparent skin textures, complete with veins and skin patterns only seen on his creations. And wait till you see what he added to the Axe!!! By the way, if ever you want Joe to do some build-up work for you, check out his site and contact page at www.modelzone.com
Overall, this is really a magnificent piece, especially for the price, which is low because there’s no base. It’s definitely another winning sculpt by Narin and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you add it to your collection! if you would like to pick one up, you can purchase this from our shop by clicking HERE, or if you want to check out all the pics, click on the icon below (The files named axertor_joe_0x.jpg are my photos):

Im not normaly a fan of the narin kits due to the lack of netting and the original looking sculpts. I would rather have a nice predator 1. 2 or AVP kit but this kit I love. I would very much like to have one of these for my collection.
