NECA Posts Some Official News on Their Upcoming AvP-R Figures!

A big thanks to Clyde who sent me a heads up last week about some additional information and photos on the NECA website! Check the official news here and product info is here!
Looks like they plan on having a masked and unmasked version although I initially though that the unmasked version they were showing had a seamline on the face so that it could be removed and the masked be put on, sort of like how the Kotobukiya P2 is. I guess they’re going for the cash grab by making them separate figures altogether. My first impression on the fig is it looks awkward… the legs look too skinny and the head seems too huge. I guess we’ll find out in 2008 when these figs his the store shelves, and you can bet I’ll be posting a full review!

More news on the Masked version is yet to be found on NECA, hopefully. If there are, I will gladly inform you.
Hello Dan i can’t wait for some of these item to hit the stores. wondering if you know is hot toys coming out with there version.
Truth be told, I have no information on anything AvP-R wise that Hot Toys is doing… I’m just waiting for that P2 Elder to ship out and I’m praying it’s not a disaster.

wonder if they like donuts? i agree with you his head is kinda small, and he’s alittle skinny i thought he’d be really buff. butt all in all he’s a10/10!

Yeah I ordered both unmasked and masked fig’s and they better be good! Well NECA has made some good fig’s like the God of War ones and Assassin’s Creed and I heard they’re making Gears of War fig’s so my hopes are high.
