Our First Round of AvP Costumes are Almost Done! Here’s Some Sneak Peeks!
September 11th, 2007
Oh MAN do I have a special treat for you guys tonight and I am COMPLETELY stoked about this. A couple of months ago I announced that I had partnered up with the creative genius Pete Mander of Kre8-FX to bring to you guys complete, out-of-the-box fitted Predator costumes. Let’s just say, the orders came POURING in! Some folks were hesitant because we were just starting out and we only had pics of older generation costumes to show you. Today, I’m going to show you all the new sculpts and hard work Pete has been putting in to these suits and I’m willing to bet that the lucky folks who ordered their suits in time for Halloween and going to get a little giddy when they see these. Some of these are brand new as of 4AM this morning and these are the first complete torso shots I have seen, and they are JAW-DROPPING!

The Kre8-FX team has completely blown my expectation out of the water and I am absolutely in awe of these new sculpts. I’ve compared the new parts to the older costumes Pete has done and the difference is quite honestly night and day. And the scary part is that his older suits were AWESOME! Here’s another shot of the torso in progress with the Celtic bio helmet in place:

The detailing on each piece is incredible, and as soon as I saw these I told Pete I’d better be getting one of these as soon as the Halloween rush is over! Just look at the quality sculpt of the very accurate armor:

And here is a closeup of the fine mesh used on the new Celtic helmet sculpt, which is quite easily the most screen accurate version of this helmet I have ever seen created. Call me bias, but I’m being dead honest here, it’s gorgeous.

So, did I wet your whistle? Check out all the work in progress shots I have so far, including the gauntlets, blades, feet, legs and more by clicking on the photo icon below:
If you would like more information on how to purchase a Predator 1 or AvP style costume, you can read all about it on our Predator costume sale page or contact me for further details. BUT BE WARNED, for the moment we sell complete suits ONLY, so please do not ask to purchase specific components.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy the photos! Feel free to post a comment below.
