New Fewture Predator Bust and Presenting the All-New Hunters Lair!
January 10th, 2007
Hello fellow Pred-heads and welcome to my first post of 2007! I would first like to wish you and your families all the very best in the new year and I hope everyone enjoys good health and happiness!
With that said, I’d also like to apologize yet again for my lack of posts, it’s just been a mad house since mid December and it’s been very difficult to get caught up on work, let alone stay up-to-date on the world of collectibles. But, I’m back now and I have a couple of major posts to get things started, and I have much more to catch up this week, so enjoy!
Fewture Ancient Predator Bust
First off, looks like Fewture is back with another piece! Actually, their Ancient Predator repaint still hasn’t shipped, but it looks like they’re ready to post a new piece based on their Ancient Predator line. This time we have a 1/3 – 1/2 scale Ancient Predator Bust!
This looks like a kick-ass piece, but as usual, it’s going to be a pain for us International folks to get ahold of. Once again, Fewture is not accepting international orders. You can view the product page here.
If your Japanese is a bit rusty, here’s what Google Translator says (which clearly is borking the translation):

So in summary, the company is issuing 50 kits at about $300 USD each, and 200 pre-painted versions at about $500 USD each, and it’s all slated for a May 2007 release. It’s 350mm tall, which works out to just under 14″ tall. And of course, this bad boy is sculpted by the one and only Takeya and will be cast in Polystone. You’ll need to contact a Japan-based import company to get this for you, or you can wait and pay a fortune on eBay for it after-market. Either way, i will do my best to get one and review it fully as soon as it arrives!

The New Lair!
Next up, we have a VERY exciting update for you regarding the internet’s largest Predator prop and costume community know as the “Lair”. This community was opened up several years ago by Andrew Marzon (aka KitHunter) and features a huge community of hobbyists and professionals that have one thing in common… they all LOVE predators! Well, just before Christmas, Andrew decided it was time to concentrate on other aspects of his personal and professional life and I was honored by his request to take over the reigns. I accepted, and with a lot of hard work, I was able to convert the forum from that icky EZBoard stuff to a fully hosted IPB forum hosted at www.thehunterslair.com!
I still have a lot of work to go on the new system, but most of the community has already signed back up and things are in full costume making swing! Come check out the biggest gathering of pred nuts on the net at www.thehunterslair.com and join the fun!
That’s it for now guys, enjoy!

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Ie. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks
