Palisades to New 4†Sci-Fi Movie Figures, Including Predator

As if Palisades doesn’t have enough issues on the home front lately with terrible Predator sculpts and shoddy paint applications, they have to throw in trying out a new format too. *shakes head*

FALL TS05: Palisades’ New 4†Sci-Fi Movie Figures
Predator and Aliens announced…
After creating 4†figures based on the classic horror comedy Army of Darkness, Palisades has revealed plans to release 4†figures based on two of the most successful sci-fi franchises in film history: Aliens and Predator. I for one am excited. If there ever was a need for army buiding it’s with mutiple Aliens, Predators AND Colonial Marines. The idea is still way in early development. No specific release date has been set for these figures, though Palisades hopes to have them out in late 2006.
In addition, 4″ Terminator, shown at last summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, were on display. Fans can expect to see those in early 2006. These will ship as visible 2-packs as opposed to the AoD blind box approach.
Planet of the Apes is still a go for 2006 as well.
You’d think they would take the recent flop of the 4″ McFarlane AvP series 2 as a sign of things to come. Ah well… we shall see.
