Narin Bone Collector Predator Bust Review and Photos!
October 23rd, 2005

Unfortunately I am unable to find very much in terms of the origin of this gorgeous kit, but today I would like to post some photos I took a month or two ago of this wonderful resin bust most call the “Bone Collector” Predator bust. The only valid information I can offer is that either the company or the sculptor of this piece is called Narin and it was released in 2002. Now I have found some hits on Google for “Narin Model Kits” so I am assuming that is the company name. This particular bust is about 7″ high and about 5.5″ wide, and features a very muscular and very pissed off looking Predator with beautiful skull and bone details. My favorite thing about this bust is the AWESOME tiny skulls on the pred’s dreadlocks rather than the typical round bands. They just look completely amazing, and the base for this bust is equally gorgeous.
My personal piece was recently painted up by my favorite artist Joe Dunaway and he used an AMAZING technique to produce bluish and pink veins to the skull and various body areas that just blows me away. He pulled out all the stops on this one and with the combination of this layered vein trick he pulled off and the detailed spotting of the skin, this piece is probably my favorite scaled bust in my collection. Once again, this piece is a real winner and having a top notch paint up will really bring out the detailed sculpt on this bust. If you can score a kit, I suggest you grab it and hit the floor running
Ok enough with the drooling! Photo time!
Hope you enjoyed the pics and my little review. Remember to leave your comments and be sure to check out the rest of my Predator Collectibles catalog at www.mytoycollection.com.

Hold crap!
It would seem that EVERY person you’ve got to do make-ups for you has done an awesome job.
Superb collection – I’m green with envy – appropriate for a limey I suppose!
You’re a damn good photographer as well!
Shame you’re on the other side of the country dude!
